Summary

GENERAL PURPOSE:

 

Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the company.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor's Degree; prefer healthcare experience
  • Very familiar with Bank reconciliation procedures for multiple companies and multiple accounts.
  • Have a very strong working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, payroll records, accounts payable records or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
  • Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
  • Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.
  • Compute taxes owed, ensuring compliance with payment, and reporting or other tax requirements.
  • Gathering and review data for cost reports as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned by Controller or VP of Finance.
